Leonie Pierre, 6, awaits surgery with Dr. Martin Kaefer at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. Since this was Leonie's second surgery in the United States, she was much more comfortable with the process. Like any child, she is fearful of medical procedures, but the familiar staff at St. Francis earned her trust and made her comfortable during her 24 hour stay. Leonie is recovering well and enjoying her stay in the US. Another successful surgery is done, as Operation Rosie prepares the way for more children...
