A very special thanks to all who
helped out for the trailer packing day.
The
latest trailer packing day was a success! Primarily sorting
through massive medical supplies and donations, the group worked
tirelessly to organize the supplies and begin loading the trailer for
shipment. While the trailer will not be sent for a few months
still, the bulk of the work has been completed. Space still
remains on the trailer for more items. Among the
top priorities for this shipment are
laboratory supplies (Spectraphotometer, microscopes, burners, gram
stains, etc.) and radiology equipment (ultrasound machines/dopplers).
A large donation of
scrubs
from St. John's Health System in Anderson, IN will also be on board
for this shipment. The trailer is tentatively planned for
shipment to Haiti in January, to arrive and be cleared from Haitian
Customs for the February work-camp to unload.
